About SOS Community Outreach
SOS Community Outreach was created from a heart for service and a deep commitment to strengthening families, supporting youth, and building stronger communities.
After years of experience in early learning and community service, our founder recognized that many families needed more than childcare—they needed access to housing, education, wellness support, financial guidance, career resources, and safe community-based programs. That vision became Save Our Seeds Community Outreach, also known as SOS.
Our mission is to empower individuals and families by connecting them to resources, opportunities, and support systems that help them build stable, successful lives.
How We Started
SOS began by responding directly to real needs in the community. Before receiving major grants, partnerships, or outside funding, SOS provided meals, safe afterschool support, shoes for children in need, annual turkey drives, childcare assistance for working mothers, housing support for homeless students, and outreach services for families.
These early efforts became the foundation for a larger vision: creating a holistic community outreach organization that supports people at every stage of life.

Reentry Services
SOS supports returning citizens as they rebuild their lives after incarceration. Through housing assistance, mentorship, employment support, and community guidance, we help individuals transition with dignity and purpose.
Workforce Development
We help youth and adults prepare for meaningful employment through job readiness training, career certification support, skills development, internships, and career pathways.
Youth Development
Our youth programs focus on mentorship, leadership, academic support, tutoring, STEM enrichment, and positive development opportunities that help young people grow into confident future leaders.
Financial Literacy
SOS provides financial education that teaches budgeting, saving, investing, credit awareness, money management, and long-term financial planning.
Entrepreneurship
We support aspiring entrepreneurs through business mindset training, startup guidance, business development education, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Wellness Initiatives
Our wellness programs promote healthy minds, healthy bodies, and stronger communities through fitness, mental health awareness, nutrition education, and supportive wellness resources.
Childcare Placement & Family Support
